As a Career Coach I have over a decade in learning and development, I have experience with a diverse range of industries. I have coached and trained executives across business strategy, leadership, change management, and both people and business development. Working closely with these executives as they navigate career change (and after making a significant career change myself), I know the following to be true:
1. Changing direction in your career can take courage, time, and requires a plan.
2. Being adaptable and resilient makes a big difference in the process.
3. Understanding and challenging the thinking that holds you back from making a career change, or while undertaking one, is critical to your success.
4. When you take action, you gain momentum.
5. The changing face of working futures means there is more uncertainty now than ever before.
6. With this uncertainty comes great possibility.
As a Career Coach and Career Counsellor, I am a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia. I am an accredited organisational coach (IECL) and a member of the International Coaches Federation (ICF). I hold a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development, a Bachelor of Social Science (Behavioural Studies), and a Diploma of Counselling. I am a certified practitioner for the LSI/GSI 360 thinking and behavioural assessment tool and the HBDI thinking preferences tool.
Prior to my work as a Career Coach, I started my corporate career in the advertising and media industry, reaching senior roles at the Seven and Ten Networks. Then I made a career pivot having a new vision for my working life that reflected my strengths and aligned with what mattered to me. Changing direction and pursuing my interest in people development, I started my own business as an organisational coach, facilitator, and trainer. As a career coach and executive coach, I love what I do, and I’m passionate about supporting others to reach their potential and create a fulfilling career that plays to their strengths and reflects their values.
