My approach to career coaching and career counselling is evidence-based. With models and frameworks providing practical steps to help you make the changes you want. Your needs guide the career coaching and career counselling techniques used in our sessions. Typical areas I cover with clients are:
- Identifying your values, strengths, and passions and defining what matters to you and what you excel in. Building on your strengths is the fastest route to success.
- Specifying what you want your working life to look like and creating the vision for your career
- Collaboratively exploring possible options and paths and improving career search strategies.
- Identifying your transferable skills (there will be plenty) and discussing any capability gaps such as technical or subject matter expertise
- Understanding barriers to success (such as lack of confidence or self-limiting beliefs) and developing strategies to overcome them.
- Defining and positioning your personal brand and how you market yourself via your resume and LinkedIn profile
- Analysing your network and devising a targeted strategy to strengthen, diversify and leverage it.
- Fine tuning the possibilities and creating a Career Action Plan.
If now is the time to make a career change, or you would like to take steps to ‘future fit’ your current career, you don’t have to do it on your own. I am here to support you to adapt and thrive in a career that you love.
